Fr. Joseph Tetlow, SJ, responds to the query, “What hints can you give us for understanding Jesus’ human experience through prayer?”
He provides three items of recommendation in reply:
- Read and re-learn the Gospels.
- Know that the Holy Spirit is lively within the Gospels and in our hearts, serving to us to know what the Gospels are.
- Remember that you simply’re fascinated by Jesus’ expertise. The expertise of a human is the expertise of our head, our coronary heart, and what we’re doing.
